RV Membership FAQ
Are Pets Allowed In The RV Park?
Yes! We allow dogs in the RV park. There are no additional costs to have your pets with you during your membership week.
All dogs must be on leash when they are outside of your RV. Please pick up after your dog so that our maintenance crew can easily mow the lawns! Your dog can also enjoy the Off-Leash Park located between the minigolf course and the Club House.
I Can't Use My Week This Year, Can I Move My Week?
If your schedule will not allow you to use your week this year, you can move your week to a date that works better for you. We refer to this as an "Exchange".
To make an Exchange, it must be with a week that is within the same season or lower as your membership week and cannot fall within RVR's holiday schedule
(please visit our RV Weeks Calendar Page for a break down of the seasons). A $50 Administration Fee will be charged for all Exchanges. Your Exchange request must be received at least 30 days prior to your date of check-in for your membership week.
I Can't Use My Week This Year, Can I Let Someone Else Use It?
If you cannot use your membership week in any given year, you can allow somone else to use your week instead. We refer to this as "Subletting".
To Sublet your week, RVR must receive notice of the Sublet at least 7 days prior to the date of check-in. This gives us time to transfer the week into your guests name and to send them the required paperwork. The Fees for Subletting vary depending on the season (please visit our RV Weeks Calendar Page for a break down of the seasons).
The Sublet Fees are as follows:
High Season - $200/week
Mid Season - $75/week
Low Season - $50/week
If you are Subletting to a Grandparent, Parent, Child, or Grandchild the Sublet Fee is waived.
The Sublet Fee is due upon notifying RVR of the Sublet.
I Can't Use My Week This Year, Can RVR Rent It For Me?
Yes, RVR runs a "Daily Rental Program" for the RV Park. You can notify the resort that you would like to place your week into the Daily Rental Program for this year at any time. You will receive 50% of the nightly rate for any nights that RVR is able to rent out. This will be applied towards your next years maintenenace fees.
For High Season RV Weeks (Weeks 26 - 35) we offer a Rental Credit Program. If you deposit your week into the Rental Credit Program before February 1st you will receive 75% of that years maintenenace fees towards next years maintenance fees. If deposited after February 1 but before March 1st you will receive 60% of that years maintenenace fees towards next years maintenance fees. If you miss both of the above cut off dates then you are still able to drop your week into the Daily Rental Program at any time.
I Would Like To Permanently Transfer My Week To Someone Else, Who Do I Contact?
If you no longer wish to be a member of RVR and would like to transfer your week to someone else, please can contact our office at info@ridgeviewresort.ca.
I Would Like To Sell Or Turn-In My Week And Rescind My Membership, Who Do I Contact?
